Notary Services
Notary work handled in house, in person at the Daytona Beach office or online through remote online notarization, including for documents we had no part in preparing.
Two things worth knowing about notarization in Florida
- Since 2020
- Florida has allowed notarization by secure video call, so you do not have to come in to sign
- 2 witnesses
- are required on a Florida deed or will, and a deed must also be notarized before it can be recorded
Sources: Florida Department of State, Remote Online Notary Public (Part II of chapter 117, effective January 1, 2020); Florida Statutes 689.01, 732.502 and 695.03. Notarization confirms identity and signing; it is not legal advice.
Notary, in person or online
Signings are handled directly rather than sent out, which usually means a document gets notarized the same week it is ready instead of weeks later.
- In person at the Daytona Beach office
- Remote online notarization (RON): a secure video session, useful when travel is difficult or a signer lives out of state (how a session works)
You do not have to be a client
Notary service is available on its own. If you have documents prepared by someone else and simply need them notarized, that is a normal request and welcome. If the documents are part of a trust or estate plan we are helping with, signing is built into that process.
Booking a signing
Call (386) 212-9960 or book a time. For remote online notarization you will need a valid photo ID and a device with a camera; everything else is handled in the session.
Notarization confirms the identity of the signers and the signing itself. It is not legal advice and does not constitute review of the document's contents.

Questions about notary services
Short, honest answers with no product talk. If yours is not here, just ask.
Can you notarize a document you did not prepare?
Yes. Notary work is handled in house for any document, including ones we had no part in preparing, in person at the Daytona Beach office or online through remote online notarization.
What is remote online notarization?
A notarization done over a secure video session instead of in person. Florida has allowed it since 2020. You verify your identity on camera, sign electronically, and the notary applies an electronic seal. It works anywhere in Florida and is useful when travel is difficult.
Do I need witnesses?
Some Florida documents, such as wills and certain trust documents, require two witnesses in addition to the notary. Tell us what you are signing and we will say what the document needs before you arrive.
What should I bring to a notarization?
The document, unsigned, and a current government photo ID. If the document needs witnesses, we will tell you before you arrive. For online sessions you need a device with a camera and your ID.
